LAMDA Classes at Rome International School

LAMDA returns September 2024!

At Elizabeth Samuels, we understand the importance of drama in a child's development. Our classes are designed to help children build confidence, improve listening skills, and learn how to work collaboratively in a team setting.

We also offer LAMDA examinations, which can help children expand their vocabulary and develop
strong public speaking and presentation skills. These internationally recognized exams provide
children with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their skills and earn UCAS points.

Through our engaging and effective curriculum, we help children develop a lifelong love for drama
and performance, while also building skills that will serve them well in all areas of their lives.

Our acting classes are designed to help children reach their full potential by combining script work,
character development, and drama exercises. Our 30-minute lunchtime classes for middle and high schools and 90-minute after-school classes for elementary students follow the LAMDA syllabus. Students will either learn a poem or a monologue.

“James has thoroughly enjoyed his experience of LAMDA with the Elizabeth Samuels Drama School. He has grown leaps and bounds in confidence, it’s helped hone his acting and drama skills, and his conversational acuity has improved considerably through the experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
